Qari Harun Chaani

Biography

Qari Harun Kassim Chaani is an accomplished reciter based in Boston, who memorized the Qur'an under the mentorship of Shaykh AbdulMun'im Al-Muqassabi, a respected member of the Qur'an Revision Committee led by Sheikh Ahmed Essa Elma'sarawy. Qari Harun holds an Ijāzah in the narration of Ḥafṣ ʿan ʿĀṣim and is currently pursuing advanced certification in the narration of Nāfiʿ. Qari Harun is also a two-time recipient of the National Imam Shatibi Qur'an Competition award and has been leading Taraweeh prayers for the past five years, earning recognition for his soul-stirring recitation and commitment to serving the community.
